disappearing runner

Latest windows version update 24.2.48

1 out runner on 2nd, groundball to ss, force out at 3rd for 2nd out - should be runner on first, instead nobody on base. Batter disappeared - he wasn't out or left on base, he was gone.

I had the same exact thing happen--fielders choice, runner out going from second to third, batter vanished instead of going to first.
