[New Beta] Historical Salary Cap Massacre
I started in 2001, as far as I am concerned other than creating my dad as a character and turning on commissioner mode, I have not made any edits to any other option in the game and now I am in season 2007 so 6 years in and there are several teams that literally have "-" as their salary cap or another insane instance for example is the Minnesota Wild who have a current salary of $798,820,972 and the Colorado Avalanche being at $864,418,354 and the weird part is, they don't have anyone on their teams even close to like a million dollar contract, I only noticed when I saw that the ottawa senators were absolutely stacked and then saw that, Boston traded absolutely everyone of value or that had a contract for just draft picks, Thornton to Anaheim for a 3rd and then Thornton from Anaheim to Ottawa for a 2nd (Anaheim is another affected team at $322,245,164 cap). It makes all those teams just absolutely terrible too cause they can't sign anyone and they trade all their top picks away once they get to their contract year.

Yeah, there's something strange going on there, I tried a test with the same start and end dates and got similar results. I'm wondering if something's not working right when the salary cap gets applied in 2005. The teams affected seem to be the most recent expansion teams, but all are in the league already by 2001-02, so I'm not sure why that'd affect anything. We'll take a look and try to figure out why it's breaking like that.
