'The OOTP Client is not up to date'
Sorry for a really stupid and probably easily solvable post, but I'm getting this message, which has locked me out of Perfect Team, and I don't know how to install the latest version. I bought the game directly from OOTP for the first time and am unsure if I have to do this myself, or it will happen automatically. Thanks.

UPDATES AND PATCHES The Steam or Mac AppStore versions of OOTP update automatically by default, do not use the above installers for updates! To check if your copy of OOTP is up to date, please use “Check for game updates” from the “Help” submenu inside the “File” menu of OOTP. To update your OOTP 24 copy, please download the full installer (see links above). Please install the full installer on top of your original installation, this will update your current copy automatically. There is no need to release the license or to uninstall OOTP before updating it. Future suggestion: An update button on the homescreen
