Waiver Claims

i started a game in challenge mode. simulated a year and then expanded, taking over one of the expansion teams. now, whenever i place a waiver claim on a player, nothing happens. it will show i have the claim, but then the players time will run out on waivers and it acts as if they passed through. most of the time I have noticed that these players are on the FA market shortly after.

Have you checked your DFA list (designated for assignment)?

ya. they do not wind up there. they pass through waivers and then a couple days later get released.

Is this the day that you expanded your league, I believe as an expansion team the wavier claims do not go through as you were not in existence when the player was placed on waivers. I have been able to get players claimed after the expansion draft.

it was before the draft but after the actual expansion. Created the teams the day after the WS and the draft automatically scheduled for the first day of FA. Maybe that was the issue.
