Pitcher Fatigue
Can somebody tell me where I adjust the setting for pitcher fatigue? Each year in the beta, starting pitchers seem to be done after 60-70 pitches. I'd like to adjust this setting. Thank you!

Keep in mind that pitcher fatigue can be misleading, at least in prior versions of OOTP. Sometimes a pitcher will show the yellow fatigue indicator but will actually continue to pitch quite well for another inning or two. At other times, the pitcher will start giving up hits and quickly tire further, reaching the red fatigue indicator after only one or two more batters.
I'm generally quick to relieve pitchers who start showing fatigue, but there are many times when pitchers can stay pretty strong for a while after that point. I recently had a pitcher reach the yellow fatigue indicator after six innings, and he went on to pitch three more innings and finish a no-hitter. This was in a 1993 historical game, but this pitcher did not have a great fatigue rating and typically could only pitch six or seven innings at most. |
