Can you begin a season at conclusion of 2022 World Series?

I'd like to guide the Cardinals through the off-season and into the 2023 season.
Can't do much worse than they've done so far.
I have been trying to begin a season on the day after the completion of the World Series -- Nov. 6 -- but the game quits loading (not responding, screen goes white) while "Downloading people.csv."
It might be the case, where the game does not allow it as it wants you to wait for the 2023 version of the game.
I would be content with beginning at the end of the regular season.
(That way, I could play out the Cardinals-Phillies first-round series).
Any incite on getting this done would be appreciated.

I let the game set for a bit, and it did set up a season to begin on the day after the World Series.
However, there was one major problem.
100s of duplicate players throughout all levels.
My guess, is that the game created a version of a player for every level he played at over the course of a season.
So if, he played in he started in AA and played at AAA and in the majors, three versions of that individual exists
The same if a major leaguer did a one game minor-league rehab at AA.
He exists on the major league roster and on the AA roster.
Don't know if it is worth it to clean up all 32 teams.

I started a live start game the day after the season ended (October 6th) and still have a save that is untouched. Perhaps this is what your looking for.
