Cap Hit in the CSV?

Hello Jeff and the team! I was messing around with the CSV to add the contract data to our online league bot, but I don't seem to find the cap hit for players in the CSV. I was assuming the average salary would be it, but it doesn't seem right. Check this example with Vasilevski:

His cap hit in game is 9.5m: https://i.imgur.com/AlSrp8S.png
but in the CSV (imported in a database for the screenshot) it says 8.333m: https://i.imgur.com/8MmO2ms.png

Is there a way to get the cap hit in the CSV currently? or is there a way to calculate it? thanks

I don't think calculating it with the CSV would work, since the CSV rolls over which seasons it shows every time you hit July 1, so you won't always see the entire contract. I think the only option would be either the csv changing to show cap hit only or adding the columns to show cap hit and salary both in there.

Yeah a column for the cap hit in the player_contract csv would be ideal

I was gonna make a new thread but I figured I would ask here, is there also a way to know if a player is NHL draft eligible in the CSV?

I thought a mix of FranchiseID and DOB would do the trick but the FranchiseID is set to minor teams if he hasn't signed with a NHL team so I can't find a way to tell if a NHL team has the rights to the player.

So just to recap, 2 things I would like to add to the CSV:

- NHL cap hit for players in player_contract
- NHL Draft Eligibility in player_master (or player_contract)

I'll also add this here since it's related to the draft eligibility column, but would it be possible to add a column to tell which NHL team currently owns the right to a player?

The FranchiseID works if the player is under contract with a NHL team but it doesn't work if a NHL team owns the rights but doesn't have the player under contract. For our league bot it would be very useful to know easily which team owns a player rights. Thanks again!

Hello, is there any update on this? Is this something we can realistically get in FHM9 or will it have to be for the next iteration of the game?

There's an issue with the way cap data is stored internally that makes it difficult to export at the moment. "Average Salary" is included in the contract csv as a substitute for now.
