Auto Scheduling Bouts on 2.5
Hi,
I'm running a universe with a mixture of the fairly current "miscellaneous" boxer files posted on the forum (thanks) and tin cans, a total of 7000 or so boxers, start date is Jan 2020 I've started fighting them and only against fighters within their own regions them using the Auto-Schedular and have just finished the second month. However about a third of the boxers have not fought a single bout whilst those that have fought have mostly had two bouts with only a handful in each division having had one bout. Basically the same boxers are fighting each month. When I re-run the Auto -Scheduler on the second month for any region I get zero bouts. Having looked at those who haven't fought there seems to be no difference in biographical details to those that have fought. Is this just random luck or is there some box, I haven't ticked or have ticked that I shouldn't have. (I have printed out, read and followed the guide on the forum on starting a universe but cant find a reason for what is happening). Any advice appreciated Thanks |

Are all the fighters you're using set to "active"? Many of the posted fighters are set to "retired" by default. The auto scheduler can be set to schedule retired fighters or all fighters but normally only schedules active ones.

What settings have you got for General Settings and for each Corner?

Maybe someone else could confirm this, but if you want to auto schedule fighters who have not fought before, the answer might be to set the maximum bouts box to zero.

The rank max at three means only the top three fighters in each weight class will be scheduled.
The max rating difference that low can severely limit the number of available opponents for high rated fighters. |

Thanks for the feedback
I will try the max bouts set to 0 however the Max rank of 3 doesnt seem to have limited fights, however I will give both a go. I want to fight "0" rated fighters and not those ranked over 3 which seems to have worked as none of my rated 3 and above fighters, there arent that many anyhow in my Universe at the moment and in some regions there aren't any at some weights. |
