Does this guy use steroids?

I had a guy on my fictional team who was the best player in the league. In reduced ratings, he had 7,9,7. He hit around .350 with 40 homers every year. Then one year he hits .430 with 62 homers and 210 rbi's. It was easily the best season I've ever seen.
