Historical sim error message

I keep trying to sim through all the seasons starting in the year 1871 but for some reason the sim always gets hung up around 1937. I've tried various settings and some time it works but most times it does not. The error message I receive is "open_data_file_savely - could not open file 'settings/last_date_simulated.dat'"

I've uploaded to the ftp site under "MLB 1871.zip"

I may have figured this out. I wasn't using the original era_stats.txt and era_stats_minors.txt files. I forgot I had those switched out for custom leagues. Perhaps that's the issue. I will try again with the original files.

This did not fix the issue. I made it all the way to 1945 this time. But these sims take several hours so it's time to move on with my life. Thanks for all the help.
