Some help with Ohtani please
First time I'm managing/generally managing. the Angels in OOTP23.
I manage every game pitch by pitch until I get bored. It's opening day. Ohtani is the SP and he is also my DH. He is 100% fresh and ready to go. But OOTP insists on removing him from the DH spot and won't allow me to put him in the line up. I thought this was taken care of. Does anyone know what hoops, hurdles, roadblocks and other impediments I have to get through to make this work. ARRGGGGGHHH. My available playing time is limited. Can someone help? Please. |

If you set his strategy to "skip DH when pitching", then it should keep the spot open for him in the lineup when he's scheduled to pitch.

I tried that and it did make his spot in the order blank.
And he does show among the available hitters. But when I tried to drag and drop him in the spot.....nothing happens. The game doesn't allow me to put him in the batting order......UNLESS.... ......I found a work around. I replaced Ohtani as the SP and then put him in the line up as the DH. Got the order settled and then put Ohtani back in as the SP. |

Anyway, hopefully this solution will continue to work.
Thanks for the response Matt. |
