Uh-oh. I don't like this. This is how small, successful focused operations with loyal followings become large, unsuccessful, unfocused operations...

In the other thread about this I mentioned that I thought it was more like 3 developers coming together to form one group (.400 studios?). If that's the case, I don't think it will cause any big problems.

I feel your fear Malleus but hopefully 'Large' is a long way off.

In fact, given the guys involved, I can't see anything negative coming out of this probable partnership.

Anyone Notice the CAD Forum has a thread about a big announcement.

I think Arles has joined with Markus and someone else to form .400 software studios which will be the new group producing OOTP, Coaching a Dynasty and someone else doing the Boxing game.

If that's the case then Markus shouldn't lose focus and we should be alright.

Edit - In fact I think this would allow each person to work on their own game, but by banding together it should give each developer more leverage than they already had with negotiating with publishers to put out the games for retail sales. (Of course that's just a guess)

I'm thinking this may be a positive.

Geeze... when you guys start 'thinkin' you know what's going on, you're worse than an old lady sewing circle. Why doesn't everyone wait till Markus announces what's going on.

Naw... that'd be too easy.

So I think that Markus has been abducted by aliens who implanted a new .400 chip in his brain which can only be taken out by a boxer dog while he was having dreams about last night's basketball tourneyment.

Now the official announcement is that he's the mother of Draft Dodgers' baby... he just had to wait till today to find out for sure.

Yes, it's a great game. Arlie has brought the game a long way since it was first released. Plus the latest update is coming real soon and it's going to add a lot more to the game. I love being able to play my lowely alma mater, George Mason.

I play CAD quite often. I love the game. The developer (Arlie Rahn) is very much like Markus in his response to the CAD community. He has a new update that is supposed to go into beta today. The game has grown by leaps and bounds over the past six months or so. It is $ 20.00 very well spent.

The preceeding commercial announcement was brought to you by.......

Long time lurker, first time poster.

CAD is a great game. I bought the game for 20 bucks and enjoyed playing it so much that I had Arlie on my talk show a few weeks ago. It truly is a great product, and I believe that once this update comes out it's going to be even better. There are a few run time errors that pop up in the game, but Arlie is quick to run them down once he becomes aware of this.

In short, if you're a basketball fan, it's worth the 20 bucks.

I am drooling over the basketball sim. Wonder if it'll support online league play.

It said multiplayer options will be available. It's not like you can do trades or anything, but perhaps some kid of in game adjustments or somethign for the sims...

I dunno.. I just want it now!
