What to look at when starting.

Hi, I really want to get into a multi season save on OOTP 23.
I'm in the U.K., and fairly new to baseball. But have fallen on love with it. I know the basics, stats, rules etc. But I'm totally new to the OOTP series.
So, if anyone could give me some pointers on what to look for in regards to Pitchers, Batters and Position stats/ability I'd be very grateful.

Check his entire youtube channel ( https://www.youtube.com/@pfholden ) if you get time. He did a lot of videos for OOTP22 that are still applicable.

He also does some dynasty videos that you can learn a lot from just by watching how he manages.

And don’t hesitate to set up a sim and just play. It is a classic learn by doing thing. I at first mistakenly thought I needed to master the game by study and not playing. Not good. I set up a league and played games, and through trial and error I gradually figured it out. Three years later, that’s still true.
