132 games schedule: 18 in division, 12 out of division
and
136 games schedule: 24 in division, 8 out of division

No all-star game; seasons starts April 1.

Let me know what you think of the following results. I focused on having the home/away splits equal for each opponent which compelled me into certain directions.

I started with the 136, which could work with 2 series per week. Offdays are a bit rarer than current MLB though.

Then I went to the 132 with all 3-game series, but to keep the length similar to the 136 I did not do the 2 series per week.
