Custom Game Crashing After 30 Years of sim/play

I have a Custom game that I started in 1917 and have simmed all the way to 1950. After July 6th the game crashes to desktop. I made some changes to the main league. Expanding to 13 teams from 12 and adding conferences to the main league. The farm league that grew by 1 team as well but no conferences. Would an imbalanced league cause this or is it something deeper rooted?

With it crashing on the 6th, I'd suspect something draft-related, a schedule-creation crash would happen either right away on the 1st or when the regular season begins. if you can upload the save (instructions here), we'll have a look and see what exactly is wrong.

I am ignorant to anything behind the game, but my experience is that the game seems stable for a custom game to be basic and worthy for a career ... say XFL or somehting in the football world..

But if you are as ambitious as I am in wanting to create a whole league and history a la real world NHL or other ,,,, new leagues and bulk histories seem to cause problems .. perhaps ..

A sign this might be true is if you are in commish mode and reitre a player, it warns you that the game is unstable if too many players are retired .. 1000 plus it says

Yeah, crashing for me as well. I don't see anything obviously wrong with the league structure or schedule; we'll have to dig into this one a little further.

Appreciate it , if anything else maybe it'll help down the road too. If I've learned anything in my job is every case helps with future development
