Afenir with the Astros during his 1987 September audition seems to be a missing 1980s image.

I just found these listed by eBay seller historicimages01 (https://www.ebay.com/itm/30355608192...Bk9SR7KmhpmtYQ)

Not taken in 1987, but apparently taken in March of 1988 during spring training. It suited my needs, perhaps it'll suit others' as well.

Looking for anything of Vosberg with the Padres from 1986 or 1987 (in 1987, he was called up at the end of June but sent back to Vegas when the Padres came up 1 player extra in their big deal with San Francisco - never saw action).

This image is from the April 30th, 1906, edition of the Pittsburgh Press. Note that his surname was spelled "Goode" in the papers.

Wow! Thanks for the Fuentes find! I just might be able to make this work in my 1978 project! (the photographer didn't happen to snap either Mike Adams or Gary Thomason, did he or she???)

I'm sorry...I need a moment...Fuentes AND Adams??

For a dozen little reasons, this was turning into a crappy day, but things are looking up!

(I see from the Fuentes image it looks like they were hosting KC - would it be looking a gift horse in the mouth to ask if there are any images of Randy Bass or Steve Foucault?

Well, here's one I never expected to see. I have covered Bob Owchinko in an earlier post. The Pirates were the fourth of Bob's six major league teams, and the most forgettable. He lasted less than an in inning in his single '83 appearance for the Bucs, earning the dreaded "INF" ERA for his brief work. This image comes from ebay seller signatures4u! That vendor has a habit of jazzing up his images, saturating the colors and so making the photos look blurry and maybe even a little fake even when they are perfectly genuine. That is a roundabout way of saying that I am not absolutely certain that this shot is the real thing, but I offer it here for whatever it may be worth.
