Exbition Game Crash

Every time I have to start a exhibition game the game crashes on the "importing names" part of loading. I just bought the game and I haven't done anything else besides try to load up a exhibition game. Thank you for your help

It's happening when you just try to enter the exhibition game mode, without selecting teams? That sounds like something may have gone wrong in the game's installation and there's data missing or damaged. If you're playing the standalone/Fastspring version, try reinstalling it, or, if you're on Steam, go to FHM9 in your steam library, right-click on it and select properties, then go to the Local Files tab and select "Verify Integrity of Game Files." If something's broken in the data, that should fix it.

Thanks that fixed it, but now in the 2D mode the ice is nonexistent. It's all just gray with the logo in the middle

Try switching the skins back and forth: go to Settings on the start screen, then switch the Current Skin to whichever one you aren't using right now. Exit and restart, then change the skin back to whatever it was before, and restart again. That will usually fix graphics glitches like that without requiring a reinstall.
