So, Artificial Intelligence is becoming more and more commercially available these days.

For example, my Midjourney subscription - in addition to amusing friends and family - is allowing me to get much better results for facegens for players that have only old newspaper 1880's era sketches and small team photos to go off of.

So, I got to thinking about the text bots that are in nearly every news article feed I subscribe to. At a certain point, I have to think that game elements based on text - for any game - will eventually be informed by bots like ChatGPT. How long will it take someone to feed all the MLB game summaries into a computer, maybe radio plays too, etc. such that instead of drawing off of standardized text lines for a "line drive in the corner", a bot does the call more organically? How long after that does voice work more smoothly follow? I don't meet Ernie Harwell on APBA stuff or even MLB: The Show repetitive calls. I mean organic play calling of the imaginary OOTP sim unfolding before you. And then maybe thereafter, a voice to accompany it. That voice need not even be a particular person but one trained on broadcast after broadcast.

How long before the news stories and recaps are organically made up and written? Until personalities and financial desires of the "Offer Contract" get more nuanced and flavored by AI. Until your owner can really scream at or laud original (sounding) praise upon you. A lot of OOTP (or any sim) is nuance and like-real color creating immersion into something we know is just stats and algorithms. But it's fun to think what it might be like ten years from now.

Anybody ever asked one of the "free" chat bots out there in beta to give an imaginary game recap or imagine a conversation between an irrational owner and a brilliant and underappreciated GM? I'd be curious how an untrained one did, even knowing that training will someday take place (calling all MLB interns)!
