End of Season Live Start Can't Start Offseason

I just created a Live start offline sim for the day after the WS ended.. however in game it is saying "Playoffs begin today" and the only options I have are to advance to Rule 5 draft, and the "playoffs end" has no specified date. I tried doing a league with a NOV30 start date and got the same result.. Also if it is because of minor league schedule, I can't delete it because it says I must be in the offseason to do so. What can I do? I don't want to miss important offseason events and want to be able to adjust my roster properly without it being a "playoff roster"

I was able to manually add in the Offseason Start event, but the arbitration screen does not show up in the League Menu despite me receiving the mail item for arbitration period beginning.. at a loss for what to do next.

I think with the live start, by default the minor leagues end up running through a playoff setup, so it can take a couple weeks to get through. It should come back after simming a couple weeks, or you can go in and manually edit the minor league calendar and playoff setups if you want to shorten that up.
