League settings
So one thing I always do when I start a new game is I create a custom league in my real league world. So I have to replace it with an already existing league. My first save I chose to replace the minor pro quebec league... the one famous for its fighting.
Only problem is, the league is based out west. Teams from western Canada and Western US. But all the new teams are being populated by French canadian players. I've changed the league region. Unchecked the league free agents box, but all I see is French Canadian players available to be signed. I want it be open for anyone. Any nationality and and region. I also noticed a draft for that league, that also only drafts French canadian players. Is there a way to even change the draft settings at all? Thanks in advance. |

It's because that league uses a draft - players have to either be selected in or pass through the LNAH draft to be eligible to play in the league, and the only players eligible for that draft are those from Quebec. Pretty much everybody else has their LNAH league rights permanently set to None, so they're unsignable.
The FPHL or SPHL would work better for what you're trying to do, they don't have a draft mechanic and any players can sign there. |
