Confused by L10 Sales

Can someone explain this to me? How does a 51 OVR have a L10 of 44K?

The total PP exchanged in the last 10 transactions for this card has totaled 448,190.

Most likely because someone is trying to shift PP between accounts. One of the benefits (or detriments depending on your POV) of a digital economy is that all transactions are 100% trackable.

It is exceptionally easy for the team to look at who sold what to who. It's probably automated. My wager would be that the individual(s) involved were already caught. But it takes longer for the evidence to be washed out of the system.

What we see is the residue, and it's ugly.

And sadly, the illicit transactions screw the pooch for days in the AH, sometimes weeks. Fixing that issue seems rather low priority.

Another possibility is that someone bid on OOTP Go and misclicked.

In other games, such as Eve Online, transferring points from one account to another is perfectly acceptable. I would not assume that players are automatically trying to screw the system and that the staff handles these things judiciously with a warning.

Wasn't making that assumption...just saying that when it actually happens, the L10 is not corrected, so we all pay the price short term.
