Toronto trading its own 1st round pick twice
Hi !
Toronto went for two big trades and managed to trade their own 2024 1st round pick to 2 differents teams (Sharks and Predators) on the same day. According to their depth chart, Nashville received the pick and San Jose wasn't compensated. Also just like it was said in another thread, I also experienced weird salary retention, Toronto managed to grab other expensive players, but with just about 10% of their salary counted against the cap, which should not be possible. In another cap hit shenanigan, Toronto (again going berserk) also released Matt Murray in february, to re-sign him the exact same day at $750.000 for one year. Because of all of this the league became extremely unbalanced. https://imgur.com/a/x1v8UEb Last edited by Félicette; 11-13-2022 at 04:35 PM. |

Odd, once the AI is supposed to be handling and resolving the trade attempts sequentially, so once the pick was gone it shouldn't have been available for Toronto to trade again. I'm wondering if the conditions for triggering the trade aren't getting cleared properly after the first trade gets done, we'll check that out.
Still investigating the salary retention thing. |
