Can't launch app on MacOS 13
hi - just purchased on Steam and trying to play the game on my 2021 MacBook Pro, M1 Max, MacOS 13 (Ventura); can't launch the game at all, getting an error dialog:
"Franchise Hockey Manager 9.app" is damaged and can't be opened. You should move it to the Trash.Attaching image of the error dialog box. |

Yeah, we've had a few reports of this, we originally thought it was a download problem on our end, but apparently it's something else - have a look at the youtube link in this post, apparently that method will fix it: https://forums.ootpdevelopments.com/...&postcount=154

ok - never mind, I see people have been posting about this on the General Discussion board.
the fix posted by jilech is how to clear it up: Open System Settings -> Privacy and Security -> Under security is an error blocking the game from running, click "Open Anyway" -> Authenticate -> click Open. |
