Dumb question re drafts

You'd think I would know this off the top of my head, but I don't and I'm sure some of you do. How many players at each position over the course of the draft?

Do you mean, how many will be available for drafting?

From my experience, it is completely random. I once went an entire draft and only saw two catchers. The entire draft. Zero catchers in the last 9 rounds! That was a freak draft. Another time I had zero pitchers show up in either of the last two rounds, which is also pretty freaky. So I don't think there is actually any minimum.

I had a draft and their were no pitchers in the last three screens. Had to play with just 6 pitchers and lost in first round.

I'd love to see an overhaul of the PD system to make much less random, frustrating, and usually a waste of time.

The system knows what cards you're getting. Instead of going by tier and having no clue what's coming next, draw all the cards and make them available by position.

You still get your 6 perfects, and can choose only 1 of them, but you can see where they are in relation to what else is available. After you choose your perfect, or diamonds, they disappear. Once you draft a card, it's locked to that team.

No more not getting a backup catcher. No more hoping that the RP you need comes before round 13. Everyone gets a chance to build a decently complete team.

I wish they would just have a positional countdown, so you know how many of each are to come. There are supposed to be 10 of each position according to the position on the card and the rest are pitchers.
