Is my Thome broken?

I've had him batting 4 or 5th with guys like Charleston/Killebrew ahead of him and Aaron/Griffey behind him. (w/ default park factors)

I guess what I really want to know is what has been your experience with Thome.

I don't have Thome, but here are some results from my diamond league. I think it's a cheap card for a reason.

If it matters, here's my current lineup. Always open to suggestions/advice. (Almost done fully training Charleston in LF, then I'll swap him and Aaron)

I think this is the overall answer. I don't expect a crazy avg with his babip, but my Thome seems to be on the low-end of avg and HRs. I guess the x-factor here are park factors which may be the difference in what I'm seeing compared to some better performances from the card.

Thome is a splitty card and should not start against lefties. Gehrig is very cheap. My buy order got filled at 211, and I think even 200 would get filled now.

Yeah, that is my long-term goal, but as a fellow F2P who has OCD when it comes to collection missions it's probably a ways off. I pulled that Gehrig early on and sold it for 600k+ that got my team off the ground (no regrets). I had to spend most everything I had finishing the platinum series 1 late and out of rotation after I came back to the game. CC3 is all I have to do now, but I'm going to need some good pulls tonight after new card release to pay for that.

I'm glad there are people that do missions because otherwise no one would buy my cards and I could not have gone from a 2035 start to a PeL coffee cup appearance in 2045.
