Turon has become the third team to win at least three Pro Cups. Only Glasco and Blue Lake have more with four.

Simon Clairborne had a performance for the ages, belting four home runs in the Pro Cup clinching game. Clairborne, throughout the postseason, batted .470 with 17 HR and 36 RBI. In the Pro Cup he was .520 / 8 HR/ 15 RBI.

Catcher Kris Holland was the unsung hero for the Turon Typhoons. Throughout the postseason the number nine hitter batted .391 with 2 HR and 15 RBI. In the Pro Cup he was .476 / 2 HR / 8 RBI.

Also of honorable mention was Barrett Parverol. Throughout the postseason he batted .541 with 12 HR and 33 RBI. In the Pro Cup he was .619 / 4 HR / 10 RBI.

The Tycobbian Union leads in Pro Cups, 16-11.

Immediately after winning the championship, hugging the Pro Cup trophy with tears in his eyes, Kris Holland announced his retirement at the age of 35. After that outstanding and unexpected playoff performance he decided to go out on top. He had struggled in his past couple years, batting just .213 and .212. While he probably won't be an IPA Hall of Famer, I'm sure that he will have a plaque displayed in the team Hall of Fame in Typhoon Stadium very soon.

With more realistic ratings, things should hopefully be fairer for everyone, whether there are two-way players or not in your dynasty's active leagues at any time for it. And the related statistics shouldn't be too far out of whack here, as well. Look up krmarks on the forum, and you will probably see the basic template I've generally been using to create the players' profiles with, jg2977. At least, I think that's the guy who created such a template, anyway.

The Freemans will probably each come out of high school in their respective turns, so certain ratings may be different than you might be used to seeing from me on certain profiles. The first eight were for players coming out of college, but Gordon Clyde, at least, this time around will be coming out of high school, just as he did in your previous version of the IPA. I'm not so sure yet about Arthyr Gyolgi perhaps coming out of college this time around, either. As for their two shared brothers, I'll have to decide if, when, and where they'll go to college. They might not, so they might debut earlier, of course.

As for their rivals in this next generation of your dynasty, I'll certainly have to determine whether or not they do so as well, and if they do go to college, then where. I'm not quite sure when each will potentially debut in your dynasty this time around, but if they're directly descended from any of the eight players from this generation, they'll probably each start on their fathers' respective starting teams, most likely, when it comes to the rivals.

I'll probably have the Freemans start either on Denton City or St. Louis, but not sure yet, when they each debut. Morses descended directly from Zebulon and Jethro might perhaps start on Glasco, if not on one of the MLB teams, I think. Walton's sons might possibly start on Hillsboro or one of the MLB teams, if I so choose or if the game so chooses. Other players related to Zebulon and Jethro might end up elsewhere, as well, besides any of the aforementioned teams from above, but still following the usual eligibility criteria here. Just so you know.

Any Follises will likely be proposed for St. Louis, at least to start, I think. I'm not quite sure how many there will be, starting in or around 1901, but I expect at least four or five semi-fictional players spread out over at least four generations of your dynasty, if not more, at least through my generation in your dynasty. A semi-fictionalized version of my Dad's paternal grandfather will probably be the first of them, if I'm not too mistaken here. Supposing I can find the appropriate notebook with his applicable ratings and all in it in time, of course.

It's probably time to retire Jeddy and turn him into a coach. This past season he batted only .296 with 7 HR, and he's on a bad team. He reached the 900-HR milestone, but definitely won't be getting 1,000. He's signed for another two years but I don't see the point of having him struggle at the end of his career.

He did have 46 doubles, so he still has gap power, but he's obviously lost his home run power. It's up to you.

He went to North Hills? I thought he was still with South Fork all this time. That would probably explain South Fork's weak years lately, at least in part. South Fork evidently chose not to keep him, and they have apparently suffered as a result. His statistics could possibly have declined due to adequate lineup support on North Hills for him, at least in part, I'm sure, but age probably also has had something to do with him here as well. Let's give him at least one or two more years, even though his likely oldest son, at least, probably won't be old enough to play with him by the time his career ends.

Let me check the related notes I have for the next generation's players and get back to you as soon as I can, related to the eight players we've had playing over this dynasty's current run here. I should be able to get back to you soon, I think. It will be at least a few days before you get to 1901, after all, right? CD out.
