Post season sale?

Is there going to be any post season "special" sale this year? I thought there was in the past. Thanks!

I sure expect so. For at least the last several years there has been a World Series dale for $9.99. That has worked great for my play style of playing out every game.

I have been thinking, with all of the problems 23 had out of the gate (despite assurances of many that it is now stable), if the new owners aren't willing to do the same, that will be a message from the universe that the run is over.

I have purchased every version from OOTP3 forward, so I really don't want to end it all and stand pat on 22 for the future, but I am reading the tea leaves as to whether that might be the message I get.

I hope there is a sale. I know historically there would be a $9.99 playoff sale and occasionally would see a off-season $4.99 sale. I am still playing v22, but would like to move over to v23 at some point soon.

I feel the same way and it's concerning

I am not sure why you would get the impression that there would not be a World Series sale. I believe we had the usual sale period over the All-Star break.

Maybe you should change your tea brand.

Nope, you misunderstood. My very first statement was that I expect there will be one. Not just from this thread, but there has been a number of people questioning the sale lately. I merely stated that there has been a World Series sale for a number of years and at what price.

I followed that up with my personal expectation that it occurs, and if not, what that would mean to me. I don't have experience with any other sales so I am not disputing that they happened as is common.

If memory serves, it actually starts a few days before the WS, it is just called the WS sale. I always figured that it was for a pre-set amount of time, not strictly once the WS starts and ends. I suspect that is for planning purposes rather than putting it in place and removing ad hoc. The way playoff series vary in length it has an earliest date to latest date run.

I am not certain about that but it makes sense to me.
