Are we likely to ever see official tutorial/guide videos?

I'd been meaning to ask this for a while and what had got me thinking about it was the official tutorial series that Alex Murray aka AZAxle has been doing for OOTP.

I think something like this for FHM would really be a great resource for new players but also for some returning players too (myself included) as I think there are a lot of aspects of the game/menus/interface that are sort of left in the grey area. I know when it comes to how you want to actually play the game, that is completely individual, so there isnt much to 'teach' there but things like:

1) Settings lines/using the lineups screen

2) Player attributes and how they affect performance/player attributes and creating balanced lineups

3) tactics, how to set them what to pay attention to for when you're setting global/unit/individual tactics

4) the finance model

5) scouting and what's important (I dont just mean scouting for the amateur draft but also for players in the league, often I come into free agency and i'm unable to reliably judge 90% of the players in the FA pool because all of their attributes are invisible because I've not added them to the watch list? - at least I think that's how that works)

6) the basics of development and how to help your prospects succeed.

These are just ideas I've given some thought to but I'm sure there must be others.

I've recommended the game to numerous friends who are all die hard OOTP, Wolverinestudios (college basketball, college football) and FOF players and they've all bought it and eventually given up or not incorporated it into their regular games for one reason or another relating to confusion or a general misunderstanding of certain aspects of the game and I think something like this would really help to remedy things like that.

I think a lot of these are 'static concepts' too so they wouldn't need to change year on year to be updated and they'd be easier to digest and more concise than saying to someone about watching the weekly hour long streams on the off chance something gets explained.

It's just an idea and I think with the release of FHM9 coming up it could help to potentially secure more long term players of the game (I'm always trying to get people into it and this is coming from a place of love not criticism!)

I like this idea simply because I think I'm only using about 50% of the awesomeness of this game.

I wonder if the issue is people don't know hockey as well as the other sports?
i know baseball football basketball inside and out and played all 3 for a long time.
i am not sure why strat or action pc hockey would be better than FHM
i LOVE the challenges FHM has (unclear why OOTPB doesn't adopt them)
I think these can be used to educate players.

it's a great point and could certainly help players old and new to get used to the game or learn a trick or two.

As for tactics, as they currently are in the game, they're so vague and the interface is so fiddly, there's very little method to planning or ability to truly observe their effectiveness.

If anyone has recommendations for learning hockey tactics I'd love to see them. I love the game, but I've never played so I don't always totally understand good tactics or the subtle differences.

I'm currently reading 'Take your eyes off the puck' that's been useful so far.
