Cards Rewards for Missions

Will/can the cards received for completing missions ever used in a future collection? Thanks

I remember this being discussed in previous versions, but I can't remember the decision and/or if it is still the same for this year.

Yes. Even mission toppers (i.e. see Gabby Hartnett and Cool Papa Bell)

Last year Kris gave hints. This year he left and nobody fully knows or has communicated the answer.

I think Dishnet34 has said that for the Platinum Series topper you need the reward cards, but you don't have to complete the missions. But, for Cooperstown toppers you need to complete all the missions, but you don't need the individual reward cards. I could have this all wrong, though.

My theory is you won't need reward cards for critical missions. You're not locking Bell or Hartnett for a standard pack, are you?

No. It simply demonstrates that ANY card, mission reward, tournament reward, etc - may be a part of future missions.

It is NOT a safe assumption to think that mission toppers will only show up in pack reward missions.

Remember last year and all the Live mission topper cards?

I said it was a theory. When there is a need to save cards for certain future critical missions, they tell you. Otherwise, they leave the door open to saying, "yeah we might use them or we might not", which seems fair enough. It would be nice if Dishnet34 made a sticky post about things he has said definitively about missions, here on the forums and on discord. Kris always did that last year.

Actually, I don't remember last year live topper cards.

Last year's mission rewards (not the topper cards) were part of another mission set that was a big one - I particularly remember a diamond that was a quicksell being like 70K.

"yeah we might use them or we might not" is where it stands, I agree - I just think that includes 'critical missions.'

EDIT: For this reason I have kept (or re-purchased) all rewards and toppers.
