Historical player import
I run a fictional league and import historical players for a particular year. I import off of the Spritze HS database. My problem is that when I import a player, he's not starting from scratch with totals, but with his career totals. How do I get the player to start with a clean slate?

After importing him, as Commish, "Clone Player" (function in upper right under Actions), then delete the original is my first thought on how to tackle it.

Also, when importing, make sure NOT to check the import with stats box.
Even then, many come through with stats attached. In those cases, LSt's advice is pretty much the only way to clear them. This can also stuff up leaderboards, for which there is no simple solution other than going into the stats files and erasing them manually. But I have tried this numerous times and it has always ended up funky. The other thing you need to watch is players importing with huge service time racked up and some / all of their options already used. These are just the quirks that comes with manual import.
