Crashes or game freezing? See here! - Page 11

Hello! I just purchased the game. I am on the most recent Mac OS. I have created 2 league games now and each time I click edit team settings (to add logo, fix caps/jerseys) it automatically crashes.

This was happening on an older version of the game but was fixed in a patch. What version do you have installed?

If you install the latest version from here, then this shouldn't happen anymore.

I'm still having the issue. I created the Cape Cod Baseball League as a developmental league. When I select that league and click on modify team colors, etc., it crashes.

(I have emailed you. Any help would be greatly appreciated!)

This does not crash for me when I try to reproduce what you're doing, even with the files you sent, so it seems there's something weird going on.

What would be most helpful now is if you try the same thing again, but with debug mode turned on.

Then, after the crash, (but before restarting the game), please send me a copy of the trace file the game generates. That should hopefully have some more helpful information for us to isolate what's going on.

Thanks! We'll take a look at that asap.

I do have one other suggestion for now. Just to make sure everything installed correctly from the patch, try running the function in-game to reinstall all the data, as sometimes it's possible that some needed graphics files can not get copied over to the proper directory on your system during the patch installation.

If you go to 'settings' > 'troubleshooting' > and then hit the button that says 'force game data re-installation, that may fix things. Whether it does or not, let me know.

That may have fixed the issue! I'm testing it out now, but it's already past the usual crash spot. Thank you!

Unrelated to the crash: Can you tell me how to force the top-tier college players into the CCBL player pool? It looks like when I tested the "draft" class, it's pretty low quality... I understand if that's not quite in your expertise.

I see how to unlicense a game, but I want to have my "Perfect League" accounts deleted.

How is this done? I don't see it in the ToS anywhere.

... ah, I submitted a ticket. I guess that'll take care of it. I'd think it'd be unlawful not to remove accounts based in California, on request. That includes the teams themselves.

Hi, i'm hoping someone can help me.
I purchased OOTP23 via stream yesterday and installed it and went to start it and i got this error whilst the start screen was loading (like didn't even get to see the options for new game etc...)
I have attached the image of the message that comes up (hope it works).

For the record i have purchased the past 3 games and they all worked no issues.
Hoping someone could lead me in the right direction here.

(Edit) the second attachment is a message i get when i opened the game after it crashed the first time. Same thing happened once it got to the start screen.

Any questions please let me know.

For what its worth, the crash when a relief pitcher with FaceGen comes into the game still exists.

Go back to my posts from pages 6, 7,8 for a refresher on the issue if you need it.

Game plays fine with FaceGen disabled.

I re-enabled Face Gen a few days ago since the latest patch was supposed to fix it..... It doesn't fix it though.

I don't have any more info to offer here, because frankly it's not my job. At this point, it is what it is. I'm not going to rant and rave, but you guys are in the process of losing a long time customer. It's unfortunate, but it is what it is. I will not be purchasing 24.

Hey whenever I try to make custom views, the game only lets me make changes to one at a time. If I try to make a change to another one after already saving a previous one, the game crashes.

I'm having the same issue as well around "Crashed_On_Startup flag". Uninstalled, deleted the folder the game was in, rebooted my device, reinstalled, same issue.

Windows 10, Nvidia GTX970

Everything starts up but with facegen and OpenGL disabled. when I select these options and restart the game they default back to being off every time. Meaning I have no Facegen or 3D gameplay.

It was working when I first got the game a few months ago but now doesn't recognize my graphics card. I updated my drivers yesterday but the problem still exists.

I created a deep custom league. I followed the steps, also loaded the update. Each time, I get to the team select screen, pick my team and...it all closes.

Lukas and the OOTP Team,

My game continues to crash every time I try to open my Mail screen. I tried switching it out with an older "Messages" file, but that too also crashes the game. Could I get some help here?

Just to clarify do you mean restart the program or restart the particular save? Are you using the File>Settings dropdown after you load your particular save and then exiting to the start screen and coming back in?

Or at the bottom of the Start Page (the page with all the game type options and PT log-in, etc...) are you using that link to the Settings screen (at the very bottom of the screen) before you try and load your save?

Rather than just the messages folder, can you post or send us the full save folder, including the messages? And maybe do so in a new thread, as sometimes it's easy to lose track of stuff in this one. Thanks!
