Up first:

This is for a 40-team league split into two sub-leagues. Each sub league has two 10-team divisions.

The scheduling format is as follows:

114 games
No interleague play
Balanced schedule (19 teams x 6 for a 3/H/3A)

The breakdown of when played:

• Mondays are off days throughout the season except for three notable exceptions: the week before the All-Star game, the ASG is on a Monday, and the final series of the season.
• The season starts no earlier than March 30th on a Thursday (in correlation to match the first Tuesday in April be no earlier than April 4th).
• All games in April are played on weekends (lone exception is Opening weekend as ten teams open on Thursday, the rest on Friday).
• The fifth weekend of the season is a full off-week (after the fourth weekend series)
• A week long break to occur the first week in June.
• A weekend break in July,
• The All-Star game is after the 25th series of the season.
• Following the weekend break, the All-Star game occurs and the season resumes the next day.
• The regular season ends roughly the beginning or middle of September.

Not a European League schedule, but this is a schedule layout for the 2022 Mavericks League. You can use it for any format.

48 games (split 24 home/away)
Unbalanced schedule (you play one team 18 times, the other two 15 times)

The breakdown of when played:

• Season starts 2nd Thursday in May and runs through last weekend in August
• Schedule is formatted to where there it is mostly Thursday-Sunday, with some exceptions (Memorial Day and 4th of July). Most of the time the schedule format is one game on Thursday, two games on Saturday, with Fridays and Sundays alternating the 1 or 2 game format.

I use this schedule for most 8-team European Leagues. Notable exceptions would include a league in the UK (Scotland-version 2) or any other game that I let have a larger schedule when it was created.

• Each team plays two 3-game series against each team home and away with one 4-game home-and-home series.

• Common scheduling is three game series, with some matchups requiring a four game or two game set within the schedule.
• Notable exception to this is the opening series, which is a five-game series (the only one).
• Mondays are the normal off day but scattered around
• Season is set to start the fourth Wednesday in March
• Season concludes in late-September
• All games in April are played on weekends
• A week long break to occur the first week in June.
• A weekend break to occur the first weekend of July.
• All-Star game is third Saturday in July
• No team is scheduled for more than three consecutive home/away series.
• The longest stretch of games played is anywhere between 16-18 consecutive days.
