International players becoming free agents after one year of service?

Have a long time solo league going, and recently players who were international amateur signings, be it in the player pool, or automatically signed are becoming free agents prematurely. One year of service in the MLB and they are off to the free agent pool and begin bouncing around the league from there on. This is NOT happening with amateurs drafted in the first-year player draft. I've stared at my financial settings over and over and can't figure it out. But, it's on the verge of ruining my solo league.

Any thoughts or ideas?

The are settings in the bottom of the right pane of the league financials settings that control if foreign players become free agents after every season. You may want to check if all those settings look correct. It shouldn't affect IAFA, but that would be my best guess.
