Ghost runner rule not in effect during simulations

Was surprised when I saw a 17 inning game take place where a run was not scored from the 8th inning until the walk-off.

While playing the actual games, the ghost runner will be placed on second in the extra innings, that doesn't seem to be happening when simulating the day. The inning in which the game ended, there were two singles and a walk before the walk-off occurred, so there was no one on base at the start of the inning.

Disregard. The modified extra innings rule was turned off in this league. Although, I'm not really sure why it's off.
