Importing Fielding/Stamina Ratings

Just wondering what people do.

Fictional league, real players. When importing everyone at their youngest possible age (whichever debut comes first between minors and majors) what would you choose for fielding and stamina? Import based on 3-year period, career, or imported season?

I assume if I do career their ratings will be too high? But they'll play whatever position they played the most in their career? Imported season might end up with a lot of relievers being imported as starters? Is 3-year the best option? What is everyone's opinion?

Also the adjustments for X amount of innings and at-bats?

Are you planning on manually importing Draft Pools?

My response to the first question is relaint on the answer to that question.

For the "make bad" settings, I have always used 120/100 and 25/18. Somebody recommended it ages ago (Garlon, maybe?) and it always seems to have done the trick for me. But you'll get plenty of differing opinions, I'm sure.
