Just Venting!! .... Frustrated with crappy packs!
Can't catch a Diamond or Gold that is worth more than face value much less a Perfect .Wife doesn't seem to care so why not cry here!!
On another note have played PT since the beginning and this year has not been fun just doesn't feel like past years.Used to be when i was on the forum there was always talk about making team better and how some players performed and other tidbits not as much this year i think. Oh well think i will have a 10oz Bud and hope you all doing well!! |

I have to agree concerning the forums. Seems like traffic here has nose-dived since COM2US took over. Partially due to the original team can't respond regularly like they use to - issues with v23 - and also the fact that most players have quit spending so much time here and moved to DISCORD (which I personally hate). If makes me wonder how long these forums will survive. |

Don't take it personally. I'm an old guy and the forums just feel like an "sit-back-and-discuss" environment, but the Discord seems to be running 110 mph most of the time making it difficult to follow discussions, and find responses to comments you made earlier. |

Agreed, HR. Baseball is a game for fans to relax, and the forums are far more relaxing than the bullet train of discord. I've got nothing against discord—I simply don't enjoy the pacing.

I got to both these forums and Discord. As Ty said, this is a better environment for long-term and more extensive discussions. Discord is great for quick hit conversations. Both have value.

Easiest way for a PT player to get there is to click the link in the game. It's the "Perfect Team Community" option under the Main menu. I'll post some screenshots.

In the forums it’s easy to find prior conversations. On Discord it is hard to find relevant history. You get an answer in Discord and good luck finding it in the future. Can you bookmark or save conversations? Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk

You'll learn more about PT in an hour on the Discord than you will combing the message boards for a week.... And because of that the knowledge level on the Discord is also much much higher. Not that anyone there is smarter or better at the game, it's just more of a hive-mind where there's more collaboration and quick learning. Also the GIFs....

As they say… You can lead a horse to water but you cannot make him drink.

Ah, but I'm not a horse. We all know what I am, and it doesn't need stating. Little kids might hear...
![]() It's hubris now. In 5 years, it'll be mainstream. While I understand this, I don't have to enjoy it.

I came to the forum to say the exact same thing. Packs have been crappy this year so far for me. Maybe just bad luck on my part.

Agree with you Ty, Discord sucks. Kind of like people getting away from email. Sometimes I'd rather just send an email or make a post and get back answers later without having to concentrate on a specific site constantly. Especially if I'm about to head to bed or work or something. Plus the design seems like there's way too much going on at the same time.
As for the crappy packs, it may be anecdotal but I agree, seems to be less color and more iron. |

80 packs tonight netted me 354 live dupes worth about 21k, 1 HD worth about 8k, 3 of the new P2 bronzes and 4 irons.
Close to 800 packs opened on this team, and still not a single historical perfect pulled.
