I'm at the date of the 2024 draft. Would it be bad to delete and then re-generate a new draft class for 2024 on the day of the draft? I'm assuming scouting may be low, but otherwise? If it's not recommended to do on day of the draft, when is a good time?

And second, I have searched the manual, settings, and the boards for how to do this. That being, delete the draft class and generate a new one. Any instructions on how to do this are greatly appreciated!
You probably can't do it day of the draft, because of what needs to be done to regenerate the class.

The sequence would be this: delete draft class, change the draft pool reveal date to the next day, sim ahead to the next day. Then the game regenerates the class.

So basically, needs to be done at least one day before the draft is scheduled to start.

The game will generate players based on the values in teh created players ages
if you have 0 for them, the players will range between 17-22
if you put 19-27 then it will generate 27 year old players like 19 no mater if it is the draft, free agents etc.

I use 20 20 because I want all my players in my amateur draft to be 20 years old
I do have to turn off "generate free agents" or all of them would come in as 20 year olds
The only area those numbers do not influence is "international free agents" no matter those will be between 15-17 years old

Hope that helps out

Thanks to both of you. I know this is an elementary question, but I can't find how to delete the draft class anywhere. Where do I find that?

You just have to be in commish mode, go into the draft pool, select all the players and then if you right click, there should be an option to delete all selected players.

This is still happening in 23. I'm 4 years into a sim starting in 1977. Suddenly, my amateur draft is full of adults who were 20-21 years old in high school. Why is this still happening?

I get this isn't the right place for this. Just creating awareness considering this has happened consistently through the last 3 versions of the game.
