Relegation Settings

These images are of the Italian Leagues Serie A &B.

This is the default setup for these leagues in the quickstart. I am just curious as to why there isn't a league listed in the place where the game asks where teams' should be relegated, and where they should be promoted?

This may be completely intentional, but I have no idea (surprise, surprise).
Does anyone in " the know" have an idea as to why this is the case, and whether or not it's actually intended?

I would think you need to specify which leagues' you want to relegate/promote the teams to???

Yes, the settings are right (relegate 1/div etc) but for some reason (ungood I think) the leagues aren't linked. Same for the Czechs.

right...see, these are the types of things I have been pointing out in other threads...I am going to link the leagues because it only makes sense....but I have no idea if this is correct or not, and nobody else seems to either! ....so guess what? This might not turn out well...and I am NOT testing all of this stuff anymore!

This is a perfect example in fact. I WILL go look in the manual however.

I just loaded the quickstart and...

Edit: I'm an idiot and deleted the images, but I opened the majors quickstart and the settings for Serie A and B had each other listed for relegation/promotion.

It's clearly a setup error. The Italian league didn't even have relegation until just recently but they had it before 2010 I think. International teams come and go like a fart in the wind. The Mexican league is notorious for this.

If you are asking if this arrangement is correct as to Serie A/B IRL, it is. If you want to be REALLY correct, of course, you'll have to add Serie C and D too

you and your quest for realism! Good thing, because it's pretty hard to find good info on Serie C and I don't know if I've ever seen anything firm about D. I follow Napoli's team on Facebook so I've seen some of the Serie C team names.

If that is the Finale, that's for promotion to Serie B and the Serie Championship. There's about 100 clubs at Serie C level.
