Though I feel as though I knew them all, I unfortunately only met Don. Had the pleasure of sharing a lunch with him 15 years ago or so in Chicago.

Happened across this today. Some great people and names mentioned here!! This is great what you set up Cap. Gosh there were so many great people involved in the forum for years! I remember joining around 2003 I think it was. Been in and out of it at various times. But, I keep getting the itch to come back and spend some time if I get away from it for awhile.

Going back to around 2004 or 2005, I'd see Don every year at the IBHOF inductions in Canastota. He was a great guy and full of boxing stories, and one of the few people with the complete collection of The Ring Magazine.
