What year would you start in, then, perhaps? Just curious, that's all, seeing as you'd be using California and other western states as base locations for teams here, of course, jg2977. Please let me know. CD out.

I'll still start in 1901, in this universe the USA can be a little bit more technologically advanced than in real life at that time.
The first professional baseball team to form in the state of California was the Los Angeles Angels, who played in the Pacific Coast League between 1903 and 1957. Despite the same name, this team had no connection to the Los Angeles Angels, who played in the American League in 1961. So it's possible to have early 1900s CA baseball teams. As far as the Cape Coral Hurricanes items, what do you think of them? Just curious and all, you see, of course, jg2977. I hope they generally meet sufficiently with your approval here at least enough for you to use them to at least some degree in the future for the Hurricanes, at least as alternate items, if not main items, for sure. I'm not worried about whether or not you're going to be using them, you know. But I still do hope they're at least good enough in your eyes that you'd use them periodically, in any case. CD out.

Okay, maybe I can do some items mostly in blue, at least, then, for you in relation to them. Please stay tuned, jg2977. CD out.

Cape Coral Hurricanes items so far
Here you go, some more items for you to consider here, jg2977. IF you like these, let me know. If not, the same. In any case, here they are, and hopefully they all match the relevant items for each other sufficiently well, of course, here. That is all. CD out.

It looks like you've used purple now instead of blue. Can you just use the same colors that are on the logo? Don't even use the Misty Moss color at all. Just blue and orange is all that's needed. Keep it simple.

No, I didn't use purple at all. I still used the exact same blue and exact same shading percentages as before. Just so you know this well enough for future reference. The last four items were made with gradients, actually, jg2977. I suppose I could try yet again here, though, and then leave off the greenish-gold color from the logos you posted here earlier, except if I actually do put logos on the next batch of items, in any case. Would you like me to do that? Please advise. Thank you. CD out.

I do prefer when the caps have the initial of the city/town name, and not the team nickname. So for Cape Coral, both the home and away have the CC. Therefore, I'm using the away cap on the home uniform for this reason.
The more I look at your Cape Coral graphics, the more I like them. Good job, CD. When you use only two or three colors on a jersey instead of four or five, the colors blend together and don't clash. Last edited by jg2977; 06-14-2022 at 11:03 PM. |

With the gradient items, I changed the opacity percentages of certain colors to be lower than 100 percent, so that they'd hopefully blend together a bit easier and better, and not necessarily be just solid stripes, it seems to me. Therefore, the midnight blue may have seemed to lighten to purple as it blended into one of the orangish colors for the gradients, either the horizontal gradient or the circular gradient, if not both. That's if I'm not too mistaken here, on the relevant items, anyway.
Sometimes more colors are appropriate on items, but other times, not so much, whether you're looking for a more traditional look or not, I think. The greenish-gold isn't a bad color, in fact, on any of the items, either, as far as I can tell easily enough here and now, jg2977. I took it from the logos you provided, after all. Just so you know. Talk more later, as time permits and all, I'm sure. Lord willing and all, of course, that is. Thank you for your input here, as always, too, jg2977. CD out.

The Cape Coral uniform looks good now. The purplish-blue definitely works. It's a modern-looking uniform, but clean. Some of the traditional jerseys look very similar to each other. so it's nice to get something that looks different sometimes.
Do you know how to do caps with the logos on them? |

I think I can do that, at certain times, and I think I have used them before on other caps, if my memory serves me correctly enough here. However, I don't really know if the logos you provided earlier here for Cape Coral will work well enough in this particular case, just yet. Some teams, certainly, but not for Cape Coral in this case, at least for now, that is. I could be wrong, of course, but I don't believe I am here, to be honest, jg2977. CD out.

I'll probably be starting my NHL pro/rel dynasty this weekend and setting that up. I'll give you some graphics to work on. I'll have to look through all the graphics I have and see which teams need updating.
I'd like to see what you can come up with for the New York Rangers uniforms. I remember that the Tampa Bay Lightning need updating, because their colors are just blue and white now. Back when the uniforms were made they had the black in them. I'm sure that you would do a great job with the Vancouver Canucks uniforms from the 80s and 90s, when they had the black, gold and orange theme. So you can do them too. Don't think I can do the Rangers like their normal uniforms, because I don't think I can make text run diagonally, normally, jg2977. Any team like that might be harder to do, unless, of course, I have their appropriate wordmarks first, at the very least.
Fictional countries' traditional styles and colors may be quite different at times from those of real-world countries, and a lot of my teams are from fictional countries, you know. Such countries' traditional styles may often require the use of more than a few colors for items used by various sports teams in them, for sure. Just so you know. Talk more later, as time permits and all, I'm sure. Lord willing and all, of course, that is. Thank you for your time and attention and all here, then, as always, jg2977. CD out.

For the baseball uniforms, I'd prefer that the text be horizontal instead of diagonal. I don't think that diagonal wording is optimal for baseball uniforms, IMO. So you could do the Rangers in your normal style. with their traditional colors of blue, red and white.

You'll need to give me more time than the rest of this week to work here, if you actually want me to make some items for a hockey-themed reinvention of your earlier NHL/Baseball dynasty, I think, before you start it. Just so you know, jg2977. Have some things to do here myself, even if they're not graphics-related. CD out.
