Corruption of ball caps?

I was editing some uniforms for a few MLB teams using the AIO from the mods forum and suddenly all the ball caps in my save went weird. See below for an example in the editor view. They look as bad as you would expect on the field, given what you see here. I don't know what went wrong and it seems that even minor leagues have been affected in this way. I've tried reinstalling the latest version of OOTP23 but it didn't help.

PS: I even tried starting a new league, but the corruption of ball caps was present right from the beginning, without any attempts to modify uniforms.

My ballcaps, especially the visor, seems to be messed up almost every time I restart the game. Once in awhile the whole uniform is messed up. Different color than original, different type Jersey setting, different stripe setting.

This is probably coming from a borked patch installation.

If you're having this, can you go to settings > troubleshooting and then hit the button to 'force reinstall game data'.

Or on Steam, right click on OOTP in the Steam client and then verify the local files.

If that doesn't fix things though, let us know and we can take a deeper look at this.

Yes I get the messed up cap visors but not for every team. Very strange.

Tried this. The visor is still turning to a grey color on random teams when turning off the game and then turning back on. I have updated with patch today (63??) but same issue.

I think the gray visor in certain circumstances may be another issue, seems like I can remember logging that as a bug or at least reading another report about it. So we'll have to take a closer look there. But the force reinstall should at least fix the messed up main parts of the caps described here.

Here is a new twist. After doing the force reinstall of game data as recommended by Lukas, I replaced the default ballpark models with the OOTP22 mod version of ballpark models from the mods forum. After doing that, the baseball hats went back to their corrupted version. I then did another force reinstall and the ball caps were fixed, but of course the game reverted to the default OOTP23 ballpark models. So it looks like on a Mac at least, you can't have both proper ball caps and mod versions of ballparks. This was done on the 23.4.64 version of OOTP23.
