imported players personality attributes
are imported players personality attributes for any historical season always the same, or is there random assignment.
is there any IRL stats that mark a player. ie YAZ or players that play one team are LOYAL? RIPKEN is IRONMAN? Anyone that we know eventually became coach or manager has LEADERSHIP? |

I use a lot of imported historical players. From my experience their personality ratings tend to match the kind of player they were...more or less. Their injury ratings on the other hand tend to be random.

My experience with historical guys is also that injury ratings do not reflect the historical durability of a player.

Seems a simple formula looking at games played/IP should be a decent indicator to apply during import. I have resorted to HOUSE RULES that each team can change up to 5 players durability status, or other traits based on actual or subjective data. Can be overriden if not everyone agrees. |
