MAC graphics issues

During a game, I will sometimes have to move the labels of some of the players to better align where they are in the field and on base paths. This is for 2d and Web views. However, when I try to move them on my MAC the players vanish off screen or don't move at all. Do I need to do something different?

You might try opening OOTP in low res mode, as per the following. I'm not certain it will fix this, but it might help:

1. Go to wherever the app is located, most likely in the Applications folder.
2. Right-click on the app that you would like to open in low resolution mode, and select “Get Info” to bring forth the information dialog box for the app.
3. When the Get Info dialog box opens, you should see an option that says “Open in Low Resolution.” What you need to do here is checkmark the box next to the option.
4. Close the Get Info dialog box after you have checked the option.
5. Now, double-click on the app to launch it

Tried that already. Did some looking on some previous posts. Still no joy.

I'm not really sure offhand of another possible fix in that case.

I'll do the same, look through old posts and tickets to see if I can find a solution from anyone who had a similar problem in the past.

Does the same thing happen regardless or whether you're in windowed or full screen modes?

Yes.

I tried various sizes of windows as well, same result.

If I move them in the ballpark setup, there is no issue. Only during a game that it acts wonky.

I have to be honest, this probably a bit beyond my knowledge at this point

It's mostly likely going to take a bit of a deeper dive into some specific troubleshooting.

Given that, I'd recommend opening a support ticket, which you can do even just by sending an email to support@ootpdevelopments.com and the support guys can work with you more directly on this (or they may even have seen this before and already know what's going on, if we're lucky).

Support desk was a swing and a miss. 2 replies in 2 weeks. One of them was an apology for not responding. Had them close my ticket, basically what's the point.

Sorry about that! I know they're quite short staffed at the moment.

Let me try to take a look again and see if I can figure anything else out here that might be going on.

One thing that might help, if you can create a debug log while you're trying to move the labels and we can see if there's anything weird recorded in that.

Bought MacBook Pro 14 in Monterey and have the same problem as above, game bought from steam. Erased all content from drive and got game from fast springs. Same results
Also, if I try to play game in classic mode, stadium is partially hidden. I think there may be a workaround by going into low res but I have not tried that.
Disappointing these issues apparently have been known for awhile but haven’t been corrected. Hopefully they will be corrected by OOTP 23.

I know the latest couple Mac OS upgrades seems to have introduced some video card driver related issues.

We're aware of those and looking at what we might be able to do.
