Bugs with Windows 10

Frequently when playing on Windows 10, the game will become unplayable. Nothing can be clicked on, and I have to use the Task Manager to force quit the program. Then the stats of player are usually deleted but the date remains the same.

Most recently, I got a phone call about my increased Gap Power, but I couldn't click "Okay" on the message and had to force quit and the increase was gone when the game reloaded.

Any recommendations for this issue?

I am putting it in SP2 Compatibility Mode with Windows 11.

The game has not aged that well and the drinking theme is a bit awkward and not my favorite part of the game, but it's worth trying out.
