SimSportsGaming OOTP league recruitment

Hi folks, SSG is home to a long-running daily sim league which runs in real time - that's right, we sim daily and each sim covers just one day. We are most definitely not fast paced but we are a league for those who value long-term planning and financial management. You have time to pore over your minor league affiliates to encourage and develop those gems into future major league stars.

We started in 2015 with MLB rosters and have run daily since - it is 22nd May 2022 in-game as I write this. There will be some familiar names on rosters but increasingly the players are fictional. We've run a full league since inception and around half the GMs are originals.

We have a rare opening with Atlanta (Firebirds - the franchise was renamed & rebranded in 2020). Make no mistake, this is a challenge suited for an experienced OOTP player - 4 of the past 5 World Series winners play in the NL East.

SSG normally runs on the latest version of OOTP but as we run in real time, we didn't want to upgrade during the season so we have remained on OOTP22 for this season (and all being well will go straight to OOTP24 if that version is released at the traditional time in 2023).

Excitingly we're about to kick off our rookie draft (using stats+) and with games running each day it is a good time to take control of Atlanta.
