Question about abbreviations
Below is a screenshot of a page that some of you may or may not have seen before. I am interested in knowing the actual names to these abbreviations. Except for AS these are all an accumulated history of player awards that each team has won over all the years of the dynasty (I play commissioner mode and the World Series has just been completed and I have not advanced to the offseason yet of the 4th season.) *Caveat* Remember that players will win awards and can move teams by various means (trade, FA, waivers, etc. So the numbers may be off if you do some deep diving in your own dynasties.)
I do know that AS stands for All Star awards won by team's players THIS year. The aAS stands for, I believe, accumulated All Star awards won by each team's players. The next 3 I understand WHAT they are but now what they are actually NAMED. BAW is the MVP award. I assume the B stands for Batter or Batting or some such, but the AW? It can't be so simple as AWard can it??? BatterAWard? If you know for sure please let me know. Same thing with PAW, it is the Pitcher of the Year award. PitcherAWard??? The next is RAW, and you have a 50/50 chance of being right, Rookie of the year award. RookieAWard? Those I understand except for the definite correct name. The last one (FAW) has stumped me. First thought was FielderAWard??? Maybe...if it's "Great Glove", I'll check that in a minute. I checked both the National League "Platinum Stick" award and National League "Great Glove" award and neither is correct. Ex. Pittsburgh shows 1 entry under FAW. I looked at "Platinum Stick" and found 2 separate players and 1 of which won it twice so that was out. Next I checked "Great Glove". I found 1 player that is now retired that played for Cincinnati in 2019 that won a glove and another player that is currently playing for Oakland that had played for Arizona in 2021 that also won a glove. Both of those teams have a 0 in that column. So THAT is not it either. As an aside it i interesting that they didn't include RelieverOTY, "Platinum Stick", "Great Glove", ManagerOTY, award winners. Also, and this goes for more than just here, it would be great to have HOVER OVER explanations of tabs and other such things everywhere. I am missing something here with the FAW. If it is something simple... Please let me know if you know what it is.Thanks guys. Have a Great Day!

Copied from a 2006 post I found by Googling OOTP and FAW.
AS Number of All-Stars on the team for that season. Note that they may have represented another team. aAS Number of players on the roster that have ever appeared in an All-Star game. BAW Number of players on the roster that have ever won the Batter of the Year Award. PAW Number of players on the roster that have ever won the Pitcher of the Year Award. RAW Number of players on the roster that have ever won the Rookie of the Year Award. FAW Total number of Fielder Awards won for each player on the roster. |

Thanks Scipio Africanus, It makes sense now. The example that I gave for the glove awards being "wrong" are correct now. Both of those players had won the glove awards for those teams but were no longer on the team and hence the roster now so that is why those 2 teams showed a zero in the FAW column. I had googled OOTP and FAW and didn't get a return that helped unfortunately and I was not able to find help from the manual either. Thank you for clearing that up! Have a Great Day!
