In the spirit of that dedication to our community, we will not deactivate any of the planned tournaments and will instead keep them going with 64 teams with the likelihood of increasing them to 128 when the leader boards go live. Any rebalancing of rewards will also be re-evaluated, so quick tournaments will remain in their current state. However, the Ace tournaments will revert back to the standard names of quick tournaments. Thank you once again for the feedback, support and dedication. We take all of that very seriously.

We are very excited about the tournament standings and leader boards. We feel that will encourage participation in tournaments and Perfect Drafts while also providing great rewards. We also understand the issues the community brought forward and will look to delay any adjustments until we have the leader boards active.
You can thank me for the tournament leaderboard idea, and you can thank me by just refunding my money. And I mean all of it. I'm out.

I can't even get 2 of my 3 teams to save a roster. Not to mention, and I say this with the utmost sincerity, this is the buggiest piece of software I've ever encountered. It needs a complete re-write of code from the bottom up. It's a fkn mess. I'm not even talking about all the server issues.

I can see where this is all headed, and while I enjoyed wasting some time on this game, I just can't support this nonsense anymore. This company has been given a lot of grace in all the things it's bungled, because you have a very loyal base in a niche market... you should be grateful for that, but instead it's another blatant money grab.

No thank you. Let me know when my refund is in please.

LOL. You know you aren't getting any money back right? They told a dude who has been a 20 year customer to kick rocks when he asked for a work around on his loyalty packs because he no longer has access to the email, actually using the excuse that we wouldn't expect that from microsoft or google so we shouldn't expect it here, and you think they'll refund money paid on lottery tickets?

I'm with you though brother. Fight the good fight. Viva la revolucion.

To their credit, they have shown plenty of times that they’re willing to issue refunds if requested. It’s just that a forum post isn’t exactly the Avenue to go about it.

I've never seen a refund on a PT purchase. Core game? Sure. But not PP.

I guess you weren’t around for PT21?

There were…well…a lot of refunds issued. For certain reasons.

But also, I’m assuming he’s talking about a refund for his initial OOTP23 purchase, anyway, and not for PP purchases.

PT 23 is PR nightmare. Too bad that so much could have been avoided. Going hours with no updates or just plain "Sorry we are working on it." would have helped. But we were ignored most of the day on failed launch day.

I was around. And I believe he's talking about refunding PP.

This year you get your 3 teams and that’s it because everyone had to re-register.
Ahh, misinterpretated your meaning, apologies sir.
I'm still able to access my PT22 teams using OOT22 until its ended around this time next year. So I do have five currently, was going to start my sixth next Monday morning but have to decided to no longer play Perfect Team and sold off all but locked cards on my PT23 teams.

PT22 right now has over 50,000 teams

PT23 right now has <7000. Are you guys trying to increase the number of players or just cater to the whales? And yes, I'm spending money this year. But 2 of my 3 teams continue to be FTP.

Suggestions:

Drastically increase the number of silver cards in packs. It's ridiculous to see live silvers trading for 3000 PP's when live diamonds are trading for 5000 and many live golds are trading around 15-1800. The marketplace is telling you what you're doing wrong, if you only stop to think about what the data really means.

They could just get Twitch Drops working with Silver Packs as the reward for the 'Official streams' and that will go a long way towards fixing that issue.

Edit: And not long after I posted, they staerted testing the PT23 Twitch drops. Now for tomorrow's lottery numbers.....

Lack of silvers in packs has been brought up daily for 3 seasons now. It's why silver packs were introduced. I think the seeding isn't that bad but there are clearly some opportunists corning the market.

Wow I am surprised I don't really see this talked about more, but I am really upset that the rewards feature in challenge mode is disabled. Like really guys? It has been a month since launch. That is blatantly cutting off perfect team from your CORE game. You have deviated so far from what made this mode fun and enjoyable. I use to be proud of you guys for not turning into the greedy pigs at EA. How can you truly say you are a better company since selling out?

When I was college AGE (didn't actually go until much later) I was first selling WOW beta accounts on ebay, then got banned after my 4th cease and desist. I then used glider to sell accounts on forums for the next couple years until the foreignese boxing farms squeezed me out. Good times and great memories
The thing w/ Everquest sales on eBay, is that Sony complained to eBay and claimed it was "intellectual property", and eBay stopped allowing the "digital item sales" for a while (I think they do now, but you have zero chargeback protection, since there's no way to "prove" that whatever it was was sent/delivered -- just going by what I've heard since it's not something I've done since Everquest). So if that is in fact true, then it is as it should be (individual gaming companies/games putting rules against such in their ToS and enforcing it).

I dutifully stopped selling on eBay but didn't think much of the "intellectual property" BS argument ... but wasn't in a situation where I could set up my own operation & also be able to afford legal counsel in case **** hit the fan (too young basically) ... so the "yantis" guy sent a mass email out to about a dozen or so of the top eBay sellers about some garbage forum he had set up to facilitate sales & invited us to sell our stuff there, and tell all our customers about it.

Unsure how long it existed in that form, since I ceased selling altogether after about 3 months (basically was just getting rid of existing stock), but later on it became "mysupersales" and I believe he sold it to some bigger digital sales company (IGE?) for "tens of millions" years later. Laugh. I did talk to the guy once, he was in his late 30's and was an attorney. Not sure what field, but he didn't think much of the intellectual property argument, either (but also could finance his own defense, if challenged).

Oh well.

EQ2 was the last thing I sold anything off of. I didn't play WoW since I thought the beta was a bit boring & had discovered a way in the EQ2 beta to make money off of the NPCs in Alchemy crafting. Later on they implemented what amounted to a dupe bug (due to a bunch of people complaining that crafting wasn't profitable enough, laugh) .... basically you could create a single expensive item, using expensive components, then put that one item on top of a stack of 19, getting a full stack of 20. Sell 19 of that stack to the NPC, put one of your expensive ones back on the 19, sell back to NPC, rinse repeat etc.

I told it to a friend who just went wild with it and was the 'wealthiest character' on that EQ2 "players board" on several servers. Pissed me off ... but nothing ever happened to him. So instead I should have just been more aggressive with it.

I remember buying out all the copies of EQ2 within a 30 mile radius .... but that guy put as much platinum on one account as I had on a dozen copies of EQ (I think the character limit was 5 per account? or maybe 10).

... anyway... I did play WoW a bit later just for fun. Also Aion. But Aion was wrecked by all the bots selling **** for $ and now all the new MMORPGs are pay to win essentially. Screwed.

During PT22 :
These greedy pigs increased tournament rewards from 5/2 to 10/5
These greedy pigs then added twitch drops up to 35 packs free per week
These greedy pigs then added login rewards
These greedy pigs then added official twitch drops (silver and gold packs) 10-15 or more packs per week depending on broadcast schedule.

yeah, such munificence

what would be nice right now would be generation of more of the daily draft tournaments. as of now, a newly created daily fills up in minutes

i know they're created on the hour (ed: or maybe not .. i was checking 65 minutes ago, now i see one that starts in 22hrs55m, but it didn't appear then .. perhaps a new one is generated after an existing one finishes? no clue)

anyway, demand >>> supply

ed2: aha, one just appeared with 23hr35m time remaining til start. still no clue as to the timing. probably when one ends? yeah?

Yeah in 22..... Now in 23 they are doing the opposite with pack rewards. Login rewards are to benefit the company, not us the customer. It is a simple formula. More time spent logged into the game= more money spent. Increase milestone rewards in game and challenge mode rewards instead if you want to really help the player out.

The daily login thing doesn't even function properly w/ multiple accts on same license.

Usually I can get it on my main account ... but if I'm actually logged on one of the other two accounts when it resets .. screwed

There were some positive changes in PT22. They even added Silver packs when users pointed out how hard it was to obtain silver cards for missions.

But this version something is missing? Is it the loss of SnaggleJ and SnaggleK? Love dishnet, but the TWIPT show is not the same without Kris.
