Thank you Swoboda for the positive vibes, I love this game and I would get excited every year about new features. When family or other wife's would say doesn't it bother you he spends so much time playing a baseball game and she would answer " It cost peanuts and gives him so much pleasure he could be out at strip bars like some husbands we know. My wife loved seeing me get so excited like a boy at Xmas about the next version of this game. And the community has always been so helpful I even miss Malleous D and his sarcasms....

I do remember it was shipped to me in the mail on disk. I can't name another game sport sim or otherwise I have played consistently since the early 2000's. I have played OOTP at least some every year, some less than others but every year none the less. There is something about that even after 22 years I don't have a cheat code.

It is still a challenge I haven't figured out if you can do X,Y, and Z and get to a world series. What you do matters a lot and affects your chances but well stuff happens that is out of you control. I have been fired hundreds of times from jobs. Started leagues with new ideas and tweaks only to try something different. I have paid real MLB, historical, and fictional and had a blast with all.

There is just no other product on the market that has ever kept me engaged for two decades like OOTP has. Thanks for being a driving force since OOTP 5 and 18 versions now. Every year I am kind of like well how can it really be better but you guys always find a way to improve.

Perfectly said. For me, OOTP Baseball has always been the best sports management sim available. I can't even begin to count how many hours of enjoyment it gives me each year.
