Problems When Editing a Pitcher
This is an example of what happens every time I import a historical pitcher. Please help if I am missing something.
Import Doyle Alexander Ratings after import I edit current and potential to be Then I return to the player list. If I go back into Doyle's edit ratings this is what is there Note how the ratings are the same but the "resulting stats" have changed. What did I do wrong? Thanks in advance. |

You're importing him for season year 1960 when he was nine years old. I have no idea how there can be an import for this.
I've experimented and this is somehow related to the year of your game. I imported him into a 2007 game. He showed up as 20 years old born in 2035. However after I edited and left the edit screen and came back he showed as 20 years old born in 1987, which would be right for him to be 20 years old in my game. Your edit data appears to be his 1971 ratings. Rather than editing, suggest you import him as 1971 and see what happens. |

Doesn't seem to matter. Whatever year, 10 years old, 50 years old, anywhere in between. Always ends up the same situation. I make an edit, go out of the edit screen, come back in and the "resulting stats" are changed.

Yes, I experienced the same thing. Since you're editing to his 1971 stats why not just import 1971 instead of messing with edits.
What is the year in your game? Last edited by Brad K; 05-16-2022 at 09:12 PM. |
