Is there any quick adjustments i can make to get the stats more on par to real life, i mean so many quality pitchers in my league have eras way over 5 and above.

How many games have you played?

What does the statistical accuracy tool say about the situation?

Player evaluation settings don't change performance.

34 games is no basis for making adjustments.

The tool is at MLB --> Statistics --> Historical Simulation Accuracy.

However it doesn't update until the season is over. So you'll need to play another 128 games before you can use it.

If after the end of the season the simulation accuracy is good, then the league as a whole is functioning properly. However within that players can be considerably above or below their actual performances and this is accentuated by using one year ratings.

The reason is a player's performance in a season is some combination of skill and luck. But a player gets rated for his really good season and luck (randomness in the game) works with that as if that rating was based all on skill. The exception is "Real Stats" reduce HR ratings on high outlier performances like Maris' 61 in 61 but not Mantle 54 the same year because Maris' performance is seen by the devs as largely luck while Mantle's is seen as largely skill.

Anyway, be aware that players can occasionally have implausible single year performances. The devs believe in randomness and (except on big HR totals) don't put floors or caps on individual player performance.
